The Purchase Region is an eight-county area composed of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Marshall
and McCracken Counties in Western Kentucky. Metropolis and Massac County in Southern Illinois are marketing PRP partners.

The Purchase Regional Park is located on 2400 acres in the heart of this region.

Ballard County is bordered by the Ohio River on the north and the Mississippi River on the west.  Carlisle and McCracken Counties share its southern and eastern boundaries, respectively. Wickliffe is the county seat.   
Calloway >>
Calloway County is home to Murray State University and the beautiful Kentucky Lake.
Carlisle County is bounded by Ballard, Graves, and Hickman counties, and by the Mississippi River. It has an area of 1910 square miles.
Fulton >>
Fulton County is the place where the Mississippi River, the CNRR Mainline and I-69 come together.  The slogan for Fulton County is...We are Fulton County…Moving Forward.
Graves County has small town charm, but is also close to larger cities.  Make our hometown yours in Graves County.
Hickman County is a great place to live and work, boasting an exceptional quality of life.
Marshall County has a climate with all four seasons, warm hospitable people, strong community values, and miles of beautiful shoreline along Kentucky Lake, the largest manmade lake in the eastern United States.
Massac County boasts the hometown of Superman, Metropolis, as it 's county seat.
McCracken County seat is the River City of Kentucky, Paducah with a thriving art district.
